This is a tradition that my family has carried down from Dan's Family growing up and his Mother before him. Each Christmas, Santa is bound to forget something. Therefore, on New Years Day our Santa comes back and surprises all of us with a gift that he overlooked or just wanted to give for being extra good during the year.
